Port of Sakai

Since ancient times, Sakai Port has prospered as a hub port for the movement of goods and people across the Sea of Japan.

Recently, the port has been servicing regular container ship routes to Shanghai, China and Pusan, Korea, as well as the only regular international ferry connecting Japan to Korea and Russia.
